I had a game last week .
Which got me thinking about a similar situation .
In my game approx 10 mins into game.
Team a went to score a try , but grounding of ball was too tight for me to award try .
As i genuinely couldnt tell was he also touching , the touch in goal line 1st .
Straight away i blew whistle , and said scrum 5 attacking ball , as inconclusive for me to call .
And had no real disagreements from either team .
In law i know my call was correct .
But heres my question .
Suppose we are in last play of either 1st half or 2nd half.
Regardless of score ( because it shouldnt be a factor in law )
Should the game be over ,,or could you award a scrum attacking ball .
