Sarries game on the weekend: Liam Williams runs from outside the field of play, catches a ball which may or may not have reached the plane of touch and then lands back in the field of play.
Would it have mattered whether the ball had crossed the plane of touch?
Is it this amendment trial which Liam Williams used in this scenario?
If the ball-carrier reaches the plane of touch but returns the ball to the playing area without first landing in touch, play continues.
