Great tackle but from a ground fighting perspective, very poor follow up. I'd like to see the side mount being employed before attempting the full mount (not that it looked like the streaker was well versed in BJJ though!)

Didn't he get taken to court for that? (tackler, not streaker)

Nope. The Police investigated the actions of the security guard and found that it wasn't worth passing to the PPS (equivalent to your CPS)

The streaker, on the other hand, copped plenty

“In a statement today, DVML (Dunedin Venues Management Ltd) said:

‘…the man had ‘invaded the pitch where he did not have the authority to do so’ and, in accordance with venue and security policy was ‘removed as quickly as possible to detract from delaying and interrupting the event. ‘The pitch invader has received a ban from the venue for two years. There have been comments around the tackle conducted by the security guard and DVML understands that the pitch invader was sore but not injured and did not require or request any medical attention. ‘Security staff are trained to deal with pitch invasions and standard operating procedures are [were?] followed.”

Blindsided hit, Starts through the shoulder area but Ends up round the neck , then a bit of ' to the face' afters to finish off with

All the RL scouts all left their seats and fought to bag the security guards signature ....

Hang on a min, ....He wasn't ANY security guard, he was an NZAB U20 'blindside' flanker trialist !

No one will convince me Phil that he didn't actually relish the opportunity to 'showcase' to the watching NZ rugby worshippers of his tackling power by 'levelling' this unauthorised naked pitch invader.

Bonafide Risk to players ?????

This is interesting, especially from someone who refuses to speculate !!
