Longlevens v Bishopston this Saturday.
Has anyone refereed either of them before and can pass on any valuable information?

Thanks

James

what ever the crowd say, don't take it personally, they say it to all outsiders

it'll be a physical match, not sure what you're used to in your county, but be assured, they'll get stuck in and expect it to happen too!

In 2009 the game I was there for ended in a massive brawl, and that was with a team of 3.

Have fun with that.

The home side wouldnt talk to me after the game. The captain shook my hand begrudgingly, but nobody in the bar spoke to me at all. The away captain came over and had a chat, but nobody from the home side spoke to me at all.
I will post my report when it comes through from the assessor, but I thought I had a reasonable game.

Did the home side lose by any chance?
I had the same experience in BFG territory when the home side lost.

Definitely. I missed all the tackles in midfield for their centre to score.
I was also their LH prop that stood up and let the pushover try in.

You should concentrate on the reffing! I was always told that you can't ref and play at the same time; I assume this is what they meant:drool:
