Back to the op wouldn't players prebound to the ball carrier and moving forward before contact with opposition not be considered flying wedge?
I think we should stop trying to decide what constitutes a Flying Wedge, because it is not properly defined. What matters is whether or not the referee considers the play to be dangerous.
