He is held and touches the ground - tackled. The roll might have counted as momentum, but he then uses his left arm to move his shoulders round and get nearer the goal line - illegal movement.

I have always thought that good defense deserves as much credit/reward as good offence. This tackler deserved his reward.

I've looked at it at least 6 times and still can't decide, so my best guess is that it fails the "Is there a clear & obvious offence" test.

So I would vote Try.

Given that if I was refereeing I'd be lucky to be within 40 metres of him I'd say try.

Watching the video, I'd say no try. Just because the arm was used for forward motion.
