Is my sensitivity meter set too high? For me the try scorer makes a secondary move when bending his knees up to get closer to the GL. As this occurs as one might describe 'during the tackle', are other Community Referees happy with it? I don't see this as his original momentum.

It's all one motion, and the argument could be made that he still had momentum carrying him forward. If I saw this in person, I'd award the try.

The Ball carrier must act "immediately" . For me he does. Try.

Looks good to me too - all one movement, no sense of stopping and starting. Try.

I'm with chbg. I see him using his left arm to propel himself illegally

I think chbg was asking about the decision to make in the community game, in real time.

As opposed to as a TMO in the pro game

Which may / may not have a different answer

After his knee hits the ground (tackle completed) he is too far away to reach out and score. I see a deliberate effort to move his body nearer to the goal line. I do not see it as momentum.

TBH In real time I'd award the try. With TMO, I'd still award the try. He's not stopped his forward momentum until he reaches out. Fine for me.

I see it as momentum, I'd award the try. Certainly real-time on the pitch.

Thank you for your responses. I'll think about the majority democratic view, although I know with whom I agree. But I can follow other consensuses (e.g. I wanted to say 'consensi') that I do not agree with, so will probably be more lenient in future.

Temptation well resisted - the etymological origin is a Latin verb, not a second declension noun.
