MICHAEL RYAN (Coventry) has been suspended for two years by the Rugby Football Union for an Anti Doping violation.
The player tested positive for 19-norandrosterone (a metabolite of Nandrolone) and Clenbuterol, both prohibited non-specified substances, on May 20, 2013.
A disciplinary panel of Matthew Lohn, Jeremy Summers and Daniel White suspended him from June 7 2013 (the date of the original temporary suspension) until June 6, 2015. He is free to play again the following day.
The player admitted to the offence and agreed to the case being heard on papers without attending in person.
The full text of the judgement is available here
