I think it's a great move, sadly I'd have to grade the ref as SD, but would buy him several beers...

The way the player went to ground that right jab was pretty effective - and anyway the player put hands on the ref first - self defence m'lud.

I do hope every person who chased the ref is banned for life.
What He did was clearly wrong but we've no Idea what the player said to him
