On completing my ELRA course last year I filled the paperwork in and ticked the box for accepting emails regarding Referee information and RFU offers, tickets and news, however to date I haven't had anything from the RFU. My other half, as a registered member of the RFU website, gets almost an email per day regarding offers, tickets, news, etc.

This made me think, should I have registered elsewhere, or even is there an "official" Referee website for RFU or IRB referees?

You most probably need to be registered on RugbyFirst

No.

Join your local referees' society. That way you should get some communication.

EDIT: Just see the Navy badge. You should get the stuff from there.

I'm registered on RugbyFirst. Our RefDO even got me to correct some details on the website when I transferred in October. Still don't get anything from them.

Thanks for the feedback gents. I'm still quite new, and it is coming toward the back end of the season. Maybe I'll be in a position to find out more over the summer and towards the start of the new season.
