It was not a difficult game for him but having said that - he did do well. The clarity of his communication is exceptional.

He's had 3 very quick games with some very challenging situations and each time he has stepped up to the plate and performed very well and consistent. Has to be in with a shout for the final.

OTHER COMMENTS Yes I'm a hard marker. to give 10s is to suggest absolute perfection without a single error. Though some catefories are subjective in regard to style etc and I'm happy to give 10s here. I thought NO allowed the rucks to get a bit messay at times by allowing US to play the ball off their feet, not enforce tackle player to release the ball immediately, and too many instances allowing tackler to lie around and not roll out. could have pushed back post x and y too. Otherwise a really good performance. I have a higher regard for his abilities after this game.

OTHER COMMENTS Good control at all times, a few rucks degenerated into messes a few times and he blew as unplayable rather than penalise (not a bad thing if we're into clear and obvious). Like Mr Burns I was a bit puzzled by playing on after the Faingaa injury. It was 81.10 when he got injured and NO had blown up because he went down like the proverbial. NO restarted with a scrum to USA. What if the there was 2pts in it and not 60?
