My understanding is that our professional referees have agreed no ‘double whammy’ in such situations and as such no YC if a try is the outcome.

We could ask who are making the laws.

And Barnsey gave a YC and a PT - is that not a double whammy (though correct IMO)?

Indeed, double standards. We are there to interpret the laws not to make them up.

Perhaps this is the case is Wales & Pro14?
