5cm of snow, I'd say that was playable providing grond wasn't frozedn??

My game yesterday was cancelled due to a frozen pitch, with no real thawing yesterday, and a covering of snow today, with no real prospect of thawing, the U17 colts game had to be binned (hopefully third time lucky for this fixture)!

Game cancelled today, after having to ring them as they'd forgotten to phone me! About 5cm of snow came down after 7am this morning.

I know the problem. 30cm of snow overnight Friday into Sat. So snowshoeing on Saturday (bad visibilty and still snowing) followed by a great days skiing in the Sun on Sunday. Only ruined by the 1hr tail back onteh Autoroute Blanche on the way home.

Grrr, what would I give? I've not been skiing since last February when I broke my back. Shame it's too expensive at the moment.
