After my match this weekend, I had a coach ask me about squeeze ball. He indicated that a referee 2-3 weeks prior had penalized the BC at every single instance of it.

I know that it is illegal at U19 and below, but the only thing I can find is something that is on the *old* law website under the guidelines issued in March 2020 (the jackler can win a penalty by clamping the ball under the BC), but is not on the current website.

i think the idea is
- if it's used as a method of getting the ball quickly back, it's OK
- if it's used as a way to block the jackler from getting at the ball it's a PK for holding on (I wouldn't call it a PK for squeezeball)

CR is right. The guidance that we have been given is that the ‘squeeze’ must be more or less instant or part of the going to ground action and not a secondary one to deliver the ball and at the same time protect it.
