I don't keep stats in that sort of detail but:

19 fixtures as No 5 at Worcester Warriors - 11 GP, the rest LV= or ECC
16 appointed as North Mids Ref
1 as AR
3 by invitation of School
4 7's tourneys
20 Sunday mornings at the club - U14's was youngest age group

Countless contact sessions at Wednesday training

1 assessment, a handful of:noyc: and no:norc:

And a HUGE amount of FUN:bday: :bday: :bday: :bday: :bday:

My season is still going but I have a feeling I might beat you all on travel mileage (Apart from maybe Bryan and ExHookah).

A total of 70 games exactly from Level 9 and below although a little too many in the 'below' category; I estimate about 60 games of sevens since mid March as well. In addition I have turned out for Combined Services on 7 occasions. From my records, 4 x RCs; I don't count YCs for a YC is a management tool though I would estimate at least one every three games.

Just bought some new boots; if you look carefully, you can find Asic Gel 11s around for £49.50; cheers Phil.

Have a quiet summer guys. Am just off on a road trip taking a very nice V8 Jaguar XKR soft top in British Racing Green down to Portugal to look for a villa by the golf course. Then there is some serious sailing in the Solent to catch up on once the weather sorts itself out.

Deeps Junior is working his socks off with end of term exams at Newcastle before enjoying a break and then we have Miss Deeps heading off to uni in September too.

Perhaps I should clarify that a tournament or festival counts as one game, as it is one appointment.

When 30% of your games throughout the season have been at L.8, I get the impression your Society thinks you are better than the number they are prepared to give you. Tell someone to man up and play it square.

I know what you're saying but i'm not the only one with issues about the games i get and i'm sure it's the same across the counrty?

I know that here in SRRS we have a bottle neck of refs around 9-7 and a lack of teams to match and as it gets higher it gets a little worse:sad: (7-6 is very bad!)

However there are rumblings of changes at the top, so watch this space:Zip:

Thoroughly enojyable first season of refereeing, with good feedback for future development.

Thanks to all on here for helping me through it with some sound advice.

Rew15 - L.7+1 - 1.2 cards per game
OB assessing predominantly (i believe) at the lower end): 1 per game
Phil: L.10 - 0.6 per game

Is there a correlation? More cards = higher grade? Or do the more capable teams simply cheat more?

[OB - a surprisingly high count. Has anyone done any work to see whether assessed refs give more YCs than when not assessed? At one assessed game, I YC'd 3 and RC'd 1; the guy on the next pitch did exactly the same - also assessed]

From my assessed games (which I have stats for).

Games - 18
PK - 368 (at an average of 21.65 per game - Only have data for 17 games)
YC - 27 (at an average of 1.50 per game)
RC - 5 (at an average of 0.28 per game)

All games at L6, although 2 are pseudo L6 (one second teams of a Nat League club, and the other was a L6 vs L7 county cup game)

The PK count is a little high, but I was having problems at the start of the season. My average has come down from around 24 at the start of the season to about 18.5 now.
