I've said it before and I'll say it again.

The fact that FIFA, UEFA, the FA et al could stamp this sort of rubbish out overnight, but do not, clearly demonstrates they have lost control of the professional game totally.

Maybe we should organise an exchange programme.
Having us (rugby refs) ref a few soccer games while the soccer refs have a few rugby games...
Soccer players would see some reds. And maybe after having experienced the general respect of rugby soccer refs may be tempted not to take so much s**t from players once they're back to soccer

all that will happen is that the wendyballers will regard the rugby refs as w*nkers and continue their FIFA accepted practices, and the football refs won't come back and the rugbyrefs will be left with the wendyballers ;-0

Its obvious that the local FAs won't support any red cards given for ref abuse as otherwise their own refs would be doing it already.

What's worse is that if he'd already had a yellow, in all probability he wouldn't even have got that; that would have ruined the game.:wtf:
