But SW trying to communicate with a French AR and TMO? That's going to be fun to listen to!

LOL. I love it when SW gets that confused look on his face when trying to get an answer from a struggling TMO

Waiting for Wallabies bench to be named for game against France.

In the mean time, here is the ABs team to play Scotland. 13 changes to the team that played England. Interesting way of blooding players. A coach would normally give a couple (maybe even several:wink:) of new/young players a start amidst the core of the main team but 13 changes at once?

All Blacks: (15-1) Ben Smith, Colin Slade, Malakai Fekitoa, Ryan Crotty, Charle Piutau, Dan Carter, TJ Perenara, Victor Vito, Sam Cane, Richie McCaw, Dominic Bird, Jeremy Thrush, Charlie Faumuina, James Parsons, Joe Moody.
Replacements: Dane Coles, Wyatt Crockett, Ben Franks, Luke Romano, Liam Messam, Augustin Pulu, Sonny Bill Williams, Julian Savea.

Wallabies squad for France game.

Carter the only casualty as Cheika reverts to a 5-3 bench so Quade Cooper is back in the match day 23.

Wallabies: Israel Folau; Adam Ashley-Cooper, Tevita Kuridrani, Christian Leali'ifano, Joe Tomane; Bernard Foley, Nick Phipps; Ben McCalman, Michael Hooper (captain), Sean McMahon; Rob Simmons, James Horwill; Sekope Kepu, Saia Fainga'a, James Slipper. Replacements: James Hanson, Benn Robinson, Ben Alexander, Will Skelton, Matt Hodgson, Will Genia, Quade Cooper, Rob Horne.

Wallabies squad for Ireland game with 3 to be omitted.
My 3 highlighted in red.

Might be expecting too much for Beale and Schatz to both make the bench 6 days after landing in England but Schatz was definitely the form backrower during the NRC playing for Brisbane City. The thing about Beale is he can play at 12 or 15. If a winger gets injured there is always the option to move Folau onto the wing and put Beale at 15. Horne is a centre or winger so if Folau was to get injured with Horne on the bench, AAC would cover at #15. The one thing in Horne's favour is match fitness.

The scrum has struggled when the bench players have come on for the last 15-20 minutes in the last couple of games. Alexander seems to be the main offender IMO. Cheika is a Will Skelton fan but Big Will added little to last weeks game and may get outsmarted by the experienced Irish forwards who were very good against the Springboks.

Wallabies: Israel Folau, Adam Ashley-Cooper, Tevita Kuridrani, Matt Toomua, Henry Speight, Bernard Foley, Nick Phipps; Ben McCalman, Michael Hooper (capt), Luke Jones, Rob Simmons, Sam Carter, Sekope Kepu, Saia Fainga'a, James Slipper. Res: James Hanson, Tetera Faulkner, Benn Robinson, Ben Alexander, James Horwill, Will Skelton, Jake Schatz, Will Genia, Quade Cooper, Rob Horne, Kurtley Beale (three to be omitted).

Almost got it right. Skelton survives ahead of Horwill.
Horne & Alexander dropped from squad. Beale & Schatz both on the bench. I suppose there's no point flying them over there to be spectators. Only 6 test matches between now and RWC so Cheika has no choice but to try different combinations on this tour. Ideal situation would be to trial new combinations against lower ranked opposition. Ireland will be tough.
