The arrested men - all from the Merthyr area - have been released on bail.

Say no more. If I was that woman I would sue each of them for everything they are worth, although that probably wouldn't be much.

Was there any damage to the roller?

a large metal lawn roller, used on the rugby ground, had been rolled over a tent whilst a 26-year-old female occupant from a visiting rugby team was sleeping.

The woman, who is 26, had been attending a festival
I despair of the standard of writing in local news papers and reports. All these people have degrees. Sadly, most lack meaningful qualifications.

The incident made the 10:30 ITN national news this evening ! Must be a Bank Holiday.

Not many local journalists I know have degrees.

At regional paper and national newspapers, not all do there either, although over recent years it has become more of a requirement than it was in the 70s and 80s.

But its a rapidly declining career opportunity as lots of newpapers are being closed or cut back (local, regional and national at all) due to collapse of ad market and user generated / collated editoral available for free on the web.

I was there and just assumed there had been a bust up when the texts started coming through asking if I was involved. Somehow I think that roller will be removed from site next year.

And I have an alibi, both the wife and I were sparked out at the relevant time - thanks to a pretty good bottle of red. :D

If he's coming any way, it's definitely to the side rather than up!
