So
red knock on INSIDE the in-goal,
blue gather the ball
you call 'advantage'
blue (freely and cleanly) kick the ball

for a knock on advantage, a freely taken kick normally means advantage is over, right?
- so you call 'adv over' and we play on

correct?

I know where you are trying to lead me. We've already exhausted that argument in the other thread.
The Laws say the sanction for a knock-on within in-goal is a scrum. I agree with this official view. End of.
Cheers

We both agree that the sanction for a knock-on in goal is a scrum. Of course it is - the sanction for a knock-on anywhere on the pitch is a scrum.

What's at issue is the advantage Law,
- when can it be applied (and again no argument, it can be applied after a knock on in goal)
- when is adv over? (this is the nub of it)

I am glad you can see where the logic leads, even though you don't like it!
