Hi,

Anyone know what roughly what bleep test result is required at each grade? I know there maybe some differences between societies but a general idea would be handy.

Thanks

we use the Yo-Yo test to ensure consistency with Group and Panel- 16 is the level they all need to achieve so we build up to that for ambitious referees.

KML1 can tell what the exact targets are for Levels 6-8 and 9-12 in our Society.

we no longer do Beep Tests.

I am informed that L10.5 Beep is roughly = L16 Yoyo.

Those are ridiculously low for beep test results. I'd expect another 3 on each level at least.

You say ridiculously low but to enter the police service it's far less than the lowest one (devils advocate). I'm a firm believer of if your at the break down the sides have no comeback on your award.

Not sure they are THAT low - I have no idea about the accuracy but it can't have been too long ago that level 12 was "elite" according to Wikipedia: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-stage_fitness_test

But I think the bleep test isn't a hugely functional test for this gig anyway, neither is the yo-yo (but it is more suitable), but they will give rough estimates about your capacity to cope with the workload

Edit: and the bleep test levels tally with Bryan's requirements on the other thread

So with a 13.6 at the bleep test I should be alright for the time being!

As long as you can make the correct calls:holysheep:

The fitter you are the easier it is to stay focused, be there and make quick correct decision.

So with a 13.6 at the bleep test I should be alright for the time being!
