IIRC a significant problem arises because the TV networks have shared out the matches between them and have to pay to use the other's clips. That makes it expensive on a weekend when only the other side has the main matches.

It would be nice if they could agree a "knock for knock" system, but I won't hold my breath.

i've got S4C through sky, and quite often watch clwb rygbi when it's on. it's better than most of the other channels i have, even if i don't understand what they're saying (even when speaking english at times).

back in the mists of time when s4c was in its infancy I recall weatchiung a welsh cup football match on S4c with (of course) welsh commentary.

We started watching shoirtly after KO - and it took us until half time to find out whop was playing!!!

S4C is on 134, can't see there's an S4C+1. don't know about the rugby stuff, although i would guess it's on saturday or sunday evenings. look out for clwb heineken too!

Why the heck is it called Scrum V? scrum v what? scrum v lineout?

Is "V" a roman numeral i.e. 5? Scrum 5? I still don't get it.

S4C also has programme called Le Rugbi which features highlights from the French championship.

There were highlights of Quins v Glos on Sunday on BBC2 at about 2 in the afternoon. Nothing about the other games though, and I expect it was only because there was virtually no other sport on.
