Current Referee grade:
Level 6
Just had a letter from my society telling me I have been promoted to L7

Thanks again for the good advice on this forum for helping me to progress, I find it invaluable to see the perspective of other referees.

I havent been refereeing that long, this is only my 3rd season, so I have so much still to learn, and the advice from some of the more experienced referees and advisors on here definitely helps

Refereeing can be quite a lonely hobby, but having the support of this online community definitely helps.

Level 6 my next target.

well done upnunder - consolidate first at 7, and push yourself to 6, which is a big step up. Talk to some L6s and especially Group or Panel guys to give you the inside gen.

Well done.

There is a big jump to L6. Best advice is to start training with a L6 club and get and insight from the players and coaches.

But, as ST says consolidate where you are first.

Excellent job, especially after just three years! You and Chunky Charvis are obviously ones to watch - well hang on to your coat tails as you ascend. Warm glow for the forum.

Robbie, are you easily able to provide stats of the numbers of contributors at each level? I have the feeling that we've got more at 8 and above than has ever been the case hitherto.
