I think I was being a good ARse, and trailing on the other touchline at the time he touched down - I must have been at the half way line at least by then !

I have only had opportunity to use comms on a handful of occassions and this was the first in the middle so was a llittle daunting as most women say men can't multi task:D

The brief I obtained from Doug (our L5) was invaluable and enabled you and Vasile to operate as ARses and not referee game for me which is mistake many referees make when running touch.

Team of 4 and your input was invaluable and the quality of the comms (4 way) was important especially with 7 replacements to manage compared with the usual 3.

I would recommend that part of a training session is allocated to using comms and the protocols.
