Looking at the list of "Channels & Packages" card recieved from Dish Network last week I see only one channel with Universal in it's name, Universal HD. It is listed under the "HD Platinum" package heading, not under "Sports Networks".

Is that it?

It shows only sports - rugby, gymnastics, swimming and the like.

I have FIOS, and they have it as a "Local prgramming" option, not 'Sports'

Do you use that site Phil? Is it as good as it looks at first glance?

When you bear in mind how much I'm paying for Sky Sports 2 then $19.95 or £12.12 is pretty good for an annual subscription.

And given that you can get the internet on modern TVs (eg we can watch the BBC i-player on our TV screen with hardly any less of quality) that looks quite tempting.

Live streaming over the internet is fairly useless as the time of airing would be quite inconvient and though I can program a dvd recorder for my TV I have no idea how to record a streaming broadcast over the internet much less how to do it automatically at a scheduled time.

Anyone out there using DISH that can tell me where they have it.

Could be worse. If he'd stayed in the UK, his daughter would be pregnant and his son doing time for looting.

Ha brilliant, this place isn't without issues, however not seen a riot yet downtown. Teen pregnancy I think is still an issue here in Southern Indiana, however, I won't start comments about Cousins and Siblings......
