Saturday - Leicester v Newport Gwent Dragons in the Anglo Welsh Cup thingy.
Sunday - Longton Ladies v Kenilworth Ladies.

There may well be more spectators at the Sunday game than the Saturday game

First 15 A side game this weekend at Wellington College, still doing my five self assessed games, lady two under 13, now under 15 game, so line outs, penalties and flankers to deal with.

Oundle School -v- Oakham School
(Oundle have the great John Olver as head of rugby. Always good to listen to his tales and words of wisdom)

Saturday to watch Cheltenham v Chosen Hill. The second this year of my 19 year old sons former team mates died last week and this game was postponed last weekend. Both he and his elder brother had played for Cheltenham this season. I knew him since he was 7. I am expecting Dewi Edwards's parents and other family plus lots of others who knew him to be there too. So sad, but I have no doubt Chosen will play their part in a good game. The Rugby Family......

Sunday running Day 1 of a L2 reffing course.

On the road this weekend and off to god's Country for a L7 exchange game:-

Bradford Salem -v- West Leeds

Weather looks typically Yorkshire, so plenty of scrums then...

We seem to be following each other around this season. I'm on exchange and back to the county of my birth with a visit to Yarnbury v Bradford Salem next weekend.

Ctrainor - definitely a unique occasion.
There are some great pictures on the Hawcoat Park site.
Including a very solemn one of you in the minutes silence - but I am assuming you knew the deceased.

http://www.vrufc.co.uk/ for historical reasons.

Back on home turf - now that I have thawed out after last weekend's trip to Bradford - and it was good to meet LLP afterward. The last time I experienced weather like that was in the Falkland Islands!!!

Wellingborough 1st -v- Leighton Buzzard 1st

First hing to sort will probably be the clash of colours!!

Hoping for a day without snow, hail and rain.
