That's not the same at all. Never mind.

I thought you wanted a laws exam?
World Rugby have one on their site, you just have to register, and you get a certificate at the end.
Its actually better than the old rugbyrefs one as it has video questions.

I not sure where you think I said that? Here is what I actually said!

Just a site where refs could test their knowledge in their own time. Indeed video questions would be a useful addition to such a site.

The thread is about LRUL (Learn Rugby Union Laws) which is a laws quiz we used to have on this site. So when you said "Such a facility would be very useful are there any aps that people know of that do the same thing?" I don't think it was unreasonable of me to assume you wanted a facility to take a laws exam. The World Rugby laws exam allows you to log in and take the test in your own time, leaving and coming back without losing your score. Sorry if that's not what you wanted, I was trying to be helpful

What would be nice would be a database of questions that could be dipped into from time to time to "revise" your knowledge of the laws. No exams just a resourse for revision.

I guess the answer was no.

I am with Phil on this one (!) -- it seems to me World Rugby offers exactly what you are after : a database of questions that can be dipped into from time to time to revise your knowledge of the Laws.

(the weakness of it is that it's rather a small database, the strength is that they keep it up to date with Law changes)

what's missing for you?

You've answered it yourself as I've highlighted.

In my business life I have access to a number of sites / apps that my clients and I can access massive (1200+ question) databases. many are free some charge for the service.

That is what I would like. The WR site does not tick the depth of coverage box. Also I'm not lookiing for an exam set up. just a site you can go to from time to time and take a random 10 questions a time to see what your knowledge is like.

So the answer is no, again. not a problem.
