Green V Black. Black kick ahead form 10m line, a good kick that I can see is going to bounce in-goal and skid straight out into the dead ball area. Decission was about to be Scrum back at place of kick. Just before the ball crossed the dead-ball line a Green player kicks it into the dead ball zone.

Green asked for scrum back, but I gave a drop out. The ball had been put in-goal by the attacking team, so the decission was going to go Green's way from that point. But because the Green player kicked it into dead-ball it became a drop-out, which is also what they would have got if he touched it down.

What do you think? Was I right?

Was going to disagree, then reread realising it's not a kick off it's just a kick.

Dead right!
