After Broad's dismantling of Aussies on day 1, Johnson is having his go and has carved up the poms to have them at 8-94 at tea!

Could this be an Ashes series with some competition put up by the Aussies??

(Pieterson is still being a w@nker...so some things never change from Ashes to Ashes! He's officially on the presses hate list)

Should be a good series. England haven't scored over 200 in the first innings of a first test on a tour for 5 years. So my cheeky £20 @ 4/1 on an Aussie win looking good value at the momment!

Ashes? That's ... tiddlywinks or some other similar activity isn't it? Is there a game going on somewhere?

No no..you're mistaken, tiddlywinks game is that world cuppy comp going on over Your side of the globe. you know...The one where the winner is already known 3 months before the tournament started but 15 other teams came along anyway for the celebration.

England will be batting and will be 9 wickets down and 190 runs behind at start of Day 4. They will let everyone into the Gabba for free.
How much did you pay for your tickets?

Only $21. Hoping Clarkey waits till the close of play to declare.

Cheering on as we smash through the final 8 wickets tomorrow doesn't sound like a bad time :D

Hey, you Aussies. Have you noticed how quiet the Poms have gone all of a sudden over the last three days?

It's been beautiful. One of the mates coming with me is a pom. He was so happy after day 1, but it's all changed now!

We've been spanked well and truely. Well done Aussie

(But there was hardly bundles of banter about this after day one was there)

By 381 runs with a bit over a day to spare. That IS a spanking.

Ill reserve any celebration or gloating until at least after the 3rd test...by then we should know who's playing. (But the sweet sound of nothing coming from the poms chorus line is noticeable).

As a black caps fan you should recognise one of those!

To be fair (and rather annoyingly there's not many cricket lovers on the English side on this board).

My favorite line about it was my time machine works! Trouble is not sure if I've woken up in the eighties or nineties'

Well done Aussie worthy winners

I'm not going to go off early like the Waratahs, the Wallabies or David Warner and tell the opposition and their supporters how I'm going to give them a hiding before we have won the game/series.
Pros: Great first up win by us (will be happier still if we can make it back to back wins in the 2nd test)
Cons: I'm all for giving it to the poms but I really think that Mitchell Johnson makes himself look like a real tool by walking towards the batsman and giving him the death stare and a gob full of threats after nearly EVERY FAR-KING BALL !!!
