this is what my office view would look like if I was there - by Blackfriars Bridge NOT the Shard by London Bridge Phil.

However I am in Normandie this week on a family visit to my grandfather's grave at Juvigny near Caen, which we went to yesterday on the 24th. This is the 50th year since I first went as a child, and we had four generations of the family represented yesterday.

So this morning this was my "office" view at the wonderful Ferme de la Ranconniere in Crepon.

In that case Simon I am sorry if our moored barges and containers ever disturb your lunch!

Toby

River traffic, moored barges, seals, floating bodies, and so forth all add to the lunch experience next door at the Oxo, or even more so from the Doggetts.

Nah - that one looks like the Jet d'Eau in Geneva. The water looks very French, unlike the German water in my picture. :swiss:

Local acts this afternoon, so doesn't look too full, but there's a few thousand in, with more in the stands.

And this is my concrete jungle view...towards the Australian National University and Black Mountain Tower.
(Excuse the Venetian blind across the centre ...they're embedded in the double glazed windows)
