Cumbria 2 L8 Windermere v Workington 4th v 3rd. Already reffed both teams this season.
potentially should be a good game as both teams want to play rugby.
Just hope the bloody rain holds off but looks unlikely

L9 Hartlepool 2 vs Yarm 2 in a friendly, wouldn’t be of any great interest except I’m playing in a Vets game vs Hartlepool tonight and half their squad overlaps, they’d better go easy in me

AR'ing a regional D2 women's final. Current forecast - 37F and some snow. Probably my last match for several months, since my area's spring season starts around the time a new rugger will be joining the fray.

Week off last weekend spent chauffeuring my lad to his game in Brizzel.

This weekend back in Yorkshire 1 - Level 7.

Old Rishworthian (Halifax) v Middlesbrough

This means I have now refereed all 4 Halifax based teams that ply their trade in Yorkshire 1 this year.

Rish are bottom after losing to previous basement tenants last week. 'Boro are 5th after being top a month ago.

This weekend I am in the desperate North:-

Yorkshire 1 - L7

Guisborough v Dinnington

Guis about 10 miles from Co. Durham, Dinno about 3 miles from Nottinghamshire - 200 mile round trip for them. 180 miles for me.

Guis bottom of the league, Dinno about half way up (or down).

My lad did the same fixture 2 years ago when they both in N1E - L6.

First assessment since last February, thanks to knee problems/surgery. I felt a little rusty, but the game and knees went well. However I'm not entirely comfortable with the new forms despite a training session. For example you are invited to comment on use of advantage under both Communication and Management.

Enjoyed my trip to Guisborough a few years back, a superb view across to Durham from the 1st ream pitch. Hospitable and huge changing room!

For me I am down to London on Exchange this weekend London Cornish -v- Hove

10th plays bottom - who have yet to win a game this season.

This week Yorkshire 2 - Level 8

Wath-upon-Dearne v Goole

3rd vs 1st

Should be a good game with the Goolies flying high with only one loss in thirteen and a +216 pts difference.

Back in East Mids after my road trip to London last week. Good report and only 8 penalties all match!!

Peterborough 1 -v- Oadby Wyggestonians.

Oadby won the first fixture, but lie below Peterborough having lost their last couple of games. Should be an interesting encounter.

My rugby club’s annual Under 30 v Over 30 match. Nothing too serious, always good for a chuckle or two!
