My last game was a beautiful 215 mile round trip to Oban. Stunning drive and scenery, I can't wait to go again.

this weekend not so far, 10 mile round trip for an u18 team, hosting Oban.

Cup game tonight.

Weekend off.

It was a great game in the end, 6 points in it with 2 minutes to play. Home side was down to 13 men (2 x YC), but then kicked a penalty from around 40m and sealed a 9 point win.

Morning KO with a French touring side. There might be a few thick heads. Could be fun.

Whitehaven v Aspatria L7 should be a good game both desperate for a win at different ends of the table.
Nice train trip a few beers but will miss the last 15 mins of the England v Ireland game to get the last train home.
Ps if anyone was in Cumbria you could have had a game all 5 second team games in the county do not have an appointed ref we are that short theirs week!

This weekend:-

Yorkshire 2 : Level 8

Moortown (Leeds) v Wath-upon-Dearne

3rd v 6th

Good hospitality at Moortown so should be a good day.

The downside appears to that I am on the brink of losing my title as the most highly graded referee in my family. #2 son did his first Level 7 on Saturday and is aiming for re-grading next month. Booooooooooo!

Surrey Combination 2 this weekend - first run out in a month with the 6 Nations and family stuff.

Had my first AR run out last weekend, in a County U20 game (was AR2 with two excellent officials) - was quite a step-up from my normal 3 XV mud-fest. Was interesting and good experience. The away team, had their coach in my ear in the first half (sarcastic git), warned him off a couple of times, swapped over in the second half, the AR1 said he was an utter nightmare! And his lot won!

I would come and watch you (I live in Kenilworth), but I will be doing Market Drayton v Aston Old Ed's.

Best of luck.

Camberely v New Milton L8, 1st v second bottom. League position would suggest a home win, but New Milton seem to score lots of points, indeed the previous fixture btween the 2 yielded nearly 80 points with New Milton scoring over 30. That'll test the fitness then
