Midweek was schools' U18s 7s in possibly the worst conditions for 7s I have experienced. I bet it doesn't snow, sleet and hail in Rio. Also interrupted by helicopter landing on the next pitch. Some decent rugby nevertheless. This w/e nice local derby at L10.

Parents really should land in the car park and not on the pitches :chin:

Reffed a few years ago at sedbergh school and a helicopter landed, I think on the hockey pitch.
Apparently somebody was flying in to watch his lad play!
Also reffed at Ambleside and got a call from the touch line to get everyone off!
It is a designated landing site for rescue services.
Always be prepared for helicopters especially in Cumbria

This weekend:-

Yorkshire 2 : Level 8

Moortown (Leeds) v Wath-upon-Dearne

3rd v 6th

Good hospitality at Moortown so should be a good day.

The downside appears to that I am on the brink of losing my title as the most highly graded referee in my family. #2 son did his first Level 7 on Saturday and is aiming for re-grading next month. Booooooooooo!

Game postponed due to flooded pitch.

No re-appointments available. Tits!

2016 Six Nations shall be remembered for the 12th Welsh Grand Slam.:wales:
(So England getting the home win seems rather unlikely.)

Except of course Wales can't complete a Grand Slam in 2016?

didds

Beat me to it

For L'irlandais information, to win a Grand Slam you have to beat everyone else. England are the only team who have won all their games so far. :eng:

True.

However you have only played the lesser nations thus far.
The shambles that is England's XV shall be exposed by Wales and France.
Wales win win the Championship this year.

Camberely v New Milton L8, 1st v second bottom. League position would suggest a home win, but New Milton seem to score lots of points, indeed the previous fixture btween the 2 yielded nearly 80 points with New Milton scoring over 30. That'll test the fitness then
I was right, a game of 13 tries and only one conversion. Camberley won 45-22, but New Milton got a try bonus point with the last play of the game. have to applaud their discipline, I think they only conceded about 5 penalties in the whole match. Thororoughly enjoyable.
This week Junior Vase semi-final Reeds Weybridge v London Welsh Amateurs. Trip to the very picturesque Whiteley Village.
