What was contentious? Not quite sure what you mean by propensity but if players can kick the that is a skill and should get rewards.
I have more issue with the fact that a contentious penalty decision by the same ref 2 weeks in a row that decides the game.

Don't worry bud, I'm sure you've won the World Cup morally, just like the AshesNot quite sure what you mean by propensity but if players can kick the that is a skill and should get rewards.

Tautology then:propensity
/prə(ʊ)ˈpɛnsɪti/
noun
an inclination or natural tendency to behave in a particular way.
Anyway, my point is that, because ball & ground quality has improved so much over the years, and the advent of kicking tees, and improved fitness, strength & technique of kickers, it is relatively easier for kickers to be successful from further out and that is to the detriment of the game. I'd like to see this redressed by either reducing the value of PGs or making it more difficult to kick PGs (eg raise bar or narrow posts).
Feel free to start a new thread bagging BOK. And look on the bright side ... Barnes will prob get a run next weekend
Brilliant let's see if we can get it added to the laws as a method of scoringDoing backflips is also a skill but doesn't get rewarded. Changing shots on goal from place kicks to drop kicks would increase the skill required.
Different ball for kicking or for the entire game? Why not change the ball to make it more difficult? Just as they have done in other sports.
Try points have already been pushed to 4 and then 5 and bonus points added to make scoring tries more attractive, do we keep tinkering with this?I quite like that, but guess the simplest thing would be to reduce a PK 2pts
Maybe missed kicks at goal (penalty and drop) should be treated like kicks in GP. If the kick goes dead, scrum at the markTry points have already been pushed to 4 and then 5 and bonus points added to make scoring tries more attractive, do we keep tinkering with this?
