Enjoy, Stockton are my nearest club, I’m actually there tomorrow reffing their 3’s (original appointment has been Covidified but a game is a game) and it’s 6 mins in the cat not 66 so I’ll take that. A good bunch, growing club and well run.

This weekend I am back in Yorkshire 1

Level 7

Dinnington v Old Crossleyans (Halifax) former club of Messrs BC Moore and B Campsall among others.

6th versus top (undefeated)

Dinnington boasts the best referee hospitality known to (this) man and was the venue of my first ever appointment in 2006. Terry will have a cup of tea ready when I arrive and a pint on the bar when I get washed.

First game since Covid-19 last week so I'd better do a little bit of running round to make sure my lungs work.

Or "****ing Crossleyans" as they're known in my house. I got stitched up on exchange there.

Took last weekend off for personal reasons.

Mother nature cursed me - forecasted lightning all day and eventual tornado warnings put the kibosh on this one.

This week, NIU @ Illinois B, college men.

You can't live in the Lake District and complain about the rain. :)

Saturday will be the pick this week:

View attachment 4258

Right now there are two issues:
1. We might get rained out.
2. There are 11 games, and right now one referee. I've made clear exactly what will, and will not be happening. Tournament organizers have, to be fair, made it clear that if another referee doesn't magic up some time before Friday afternoon, we're a no-go. Sarah doesn't mess about.
