Likely last run-out until March

AR2 for the regional Mens Div 2 championship (Lemont, IL) - Eastside Banshees vs Chicago Blaze

As is tradition, temps will be around freezing, and 10-20mph winds most of the day.

All games are within walking distance....it's just that some could be a very, very long walk.
last week 25 mins (but I confess I actually drove as the weather was so horrible), next week about 8 mins.

Counties 1 Cumbria L 7 Millom v Hawcoat Park. 8th v 7th, no relegation or promotion to worry about so hopefully a good game as despite the rain the sand-based pitch will be perfect.
Trains on, Early kick off to watch England game, RL and/or RU. Should be a good day!

I was in Adelaide airport today, flying home from neuropsychology testing.

Everything - and I mean absolutely everything - came to a stop as they read out "they shall not grow old", the live bugler playing taps. Best observed minute of silence I can remember.

Buggermebuttocks! That's a lot. At home too! Poor old Jarrovians.
109-0 is the best (or is it worst?) I've presided over.

Crikey, thats a heck of a score. On the basis of 19 tries, if each conversion took a minute and it took a minute or so to retrieve the ball and trudge back to the half-way line after each conversion, thats almost an entire half without the ball in play. So Houghton were running them in roughly every two minutes. Most exhausted person at the game was probably the one operating the twitter feed

Nowhere for the next few weeks, pulled hamstring 30 minutes into my game Saturday!
Fortunately there was a ref on the touchline to take over.
