    Ambulance/First Aid

    I have been unpleasantly surprised by the lack of qualified medical support around at most of my games this year. Is there a requirement for all matches to have adequate medical representation prior to kick off?

    Cleats...

    Are they legal? Had a player wearing them yesterday, and when questioned he said he'd worn them all of last season. I asked him to change them (which he did) but he clearly wasn't happy.....

    For the coaches out there....

    Great article on the need for mental coaching - and the coach's role in reinforcing positive messages!! Suppose, as refs, we could learn a lot from this too - specifically the use of positve language in game management...
